This year marks an exciting milestone for health care in our province: the launch of our first-ever Spring Hospital Home Lottery. With this addition, New Brunswickers will now have two opportunities every year to win extraordinary prizes — including stunning dream homes, luxury vehicles, vacations, and unforgettable experiences.
This is a win for our ticket buyers, and an even bigger win for health care. Every ticket purchased fuels the programs, equipment, and care that patients across New Brunswick rely on.
Proceeds from the Spring Lottery will help fuel Surgical Excellence at the Saint John Regional Hospital — the province’s primary referral centre for patients living with complex medical conditions requiring specialized surgical care.
Each year, over 5,000 New Brunswickers travel to the Saint John Regional Hospital to receive complex surgical care that cannot be provided anywhere else in the province. Every day, patients from across New Brunswick — and, in the case of cardiac care, Prince Edward Island — rely on the Regional for advanced, often life-saving treatment. Your support ensures that our surgical teams have the tools, technology, and environment they need to deliver care at the highest standard.
This year’s proceeds will support two critical priorities that work together to elevate care for our entire province:
A cardiac-enabled Hybrid Operating Room will increase surgical capacity by 20%, enhance precision and safety, and give cardiac and vascular patients access to faster, less-invasive treatment with better recovery outcomes.
A state-of-the-art Spinal Robotics Program will improve surgical accuracy, reduce complications, shorten hospital stays, and significantly decrease the need for revision surgeries — positioning the Saint John Regional Hospital as a national leader in spine care.
Together, these advancements represent a transformational investment in surgical excellence — one that will improve care for thousands of patients every year and strengthen our entire provincial health system.
